Pressurization system qualified

Progress Update

 

PLD Space validates the MIURA 5 tank pressurization architecture under nominal propellant flow conditions. The campaign validated control avionics, flight software PID, and pressurization and venting systems across MIURA 5 Stage 1 and Stage 2 tanks. The next milestone will be the start of full-stage testing.

Second Stage Assembled

Progress Update

 

MIURA 5's second stage has begun its qualification campaign. The stage integrates avionics, feed system, RCS, and the primary and secondary structures, all developed and manufactured in-house by PLD Space. Its next milestone will be the EMC test campaign. Once completed, the second stage will return to PLD Space's facilities in Elche for engine integration and preparation for a static test in Teruel.

Our team has been rapidly iterating and optimizing the engineering models—through manufacturing, integration, and testing—to reach the final qualification models with maximum reliability and quality.
