Mission
As a Welding Engineer, your main mission within the area will be within the Manufacturing engineering department to guarantee the quality of welding processes ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and implementation of technical documentation (WPS, WPQR...).
- Guarantee and improve the quality of welding processes by ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Ability to manage and interpret non-destructive and destructive tests following the applicable regulations in each case.
- Manage and evaluate welding work subject to high quality standards (aeronautical or aerospace).
- Coordinate and plan the welding work.
Necessary Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar with high knowledge in welding processes.
- Essential computer skills spanning the MS Office suite of applications, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, material traceability, and manufacturing documentation.
- High level of spanish
Desired Requirements
- It is valuable to have the title of European Adhesives Engineer (EAE) or European Adhesives Specialist (EAS)
- Materials and metallurgy knowledge
- Experience making NDI
- Experience with thermal treatment like PWHT, annealing, distended.
