Mission

As a Welding Engineer, your main mission within the area will be within the Manufacturing engineering department to guarantee the quality of welding processes ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and implementation of technical documentation (WPS, WPQR...).
  • Guarantee and improve the quality of welding processes by ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Ability to manage and interpret non-destructive and destructive tests following the applicable regulations in each case. 
  • Manage and evaluate welding work subject to high quality standards (aeronautical or aerospace).
  • Coordinate and plan the welding work.  

Necessary Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar with high knowledge in welding processes. 
  • Essential computer skills spanning the MS Office suite of applications, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.  
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes, material traceability, and manufacturing documentation.
  • High level of spanish 


Desired Requirements

  • It is valuable to have the title of European Adhesives Engineer (EAE) or European Adhesives Specialist (EAS)
  • Materials and metallurgy knowledge
  • Experience making NDI
  • Experience with thermal treatment like PWHT, annealing, distended.
