Mission 

We are looking for a Database Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and optimize our corporate databases, mainly PostgreSQL and InfluxDB. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of our data systems, working closely with the development, systems, and production teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, and other databases related to corporate systems.

• Design scalable, resilient, and secure database architectures.

• Perform performance tuning (queries, indexes, engine configuration).

• Manage backup policies, restore procedures, data retention, and high availability.

• Monitor database performance and implement continuous improvements.

• Automate maintenance tasks and deployment processes.

• Support the development team in optimizing data models and queries.

• Document configurations, procedures, and standards.

• Participate in projects related to OT systems, industrial telemetry, and critical environments.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience administering PostgreSQL (mandatory).

• Solid knowledge of InfluxDB / Time-series databases.

• Experience with replication, partitioning, performance tuning, and advanced troubleshooting.

• Experience with Linux, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation.

• Knowledge of database security and encryption.

• Nice to have: Grafana, Prometheus, Telegraf, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Good teamwork and communication with technical teams.

• English is a plus.
