Mission
Ensure the proper operational condition of the company’s facilities through the daily oversight of services, contractors, and activities carried out on-site, ensuring compliance with the housekeeping, cleanliness, physical security, and quality standards established by Facility Management, in accordance with corporate procedures and business needs.
Responsibilities
Facility oversight and inspections
- Conduct periodic inspections to verify the proper operational condition and upkeep of company facilities.
- Monitor the overall condition of buildings, common areas, technical spaces, storage areas, and outdoor facilities.
- Identify deficiencies, anomalies, or potential risks and report any issues detected.
- Follow up on corrective actions resulting from incidents, inspections, or audits.
Housekeeping and workplace organization
- Monitor compliance with corporate housekeeping and cleanliness and order standards throughout all facility areas.
- Verify the proper storage of materials, equipment, and tools within work areas.
- Identify housekeeping-related deviations and ensure the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
- Promote safe, organized, and company-standard-compliant working environments.
- Collaborate with different departments to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and workplace organization.
Contractor oversight and work monitoring
- Monitor activities performed by contractors and service providers within company facilities.
- Verify that work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, permits, access requirements, and established standards.
- Confirm compliance with safety, security, housekeeping, and cleanliness requirements during the execution of work activities.
- Identify and report deviations, non-compliance issues, or risk situations observed during contractor activities.
- Follow up on corrective actions resulting from detected incidents or non-compliance findings.
Incident management
- Record and track incidents and non-compliance issues related to facilities, services, and operational activities.
- Verify the proper execution of actions required to resolve identified incidents.
- Confirm the effective closure of corrective actions associated with reported incidents.
- Report significant incidents, identified trends, and required actions to the Facility Manager.
Physical Security and compliance
- Monitor and enforce compliance with the company’s physical security policies and procedures.
- Verify compliance with access control procedures, asset protection requirements, and the proper use of company facilities.
- Identify and report non-compliance issues, vulnerabilities, or risks related to physical security.
- Support the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions aimed at improving facility security levels.
Emergency response support
- Assist in the management of emergency situations in accordance with established procedures.
- Support evacuation activities, access control measures, and operational control during incidents or emergency situations.
- Verify the availability and proper condition of emergency equipment and resources within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Participate in emergency drills and emergency preparedness and response activities.
Administrative management
- Maintain up-to-date operational information related to facilities, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Prepare basic reports regarding facility conditions, identified incidents, and supervised activities.
- Provide administrative support for the monitoring of vendors, services, and Facility Management operational performance indicators.
Necessary Requirements
Education
- Associate degree, Technical degree, or equivalent qualification in Maintenance, Electrical Systems, Building Services, Construction, Industrial Operations, or a related field.
- Additional training in Facility Management, Contractor Management (CAE), Physical Security, Facility Inspections, or Service Management will be considered an asset.
- Training in Physical Security will be considered an asset.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in facility operations, general services, maintenance, contractor oversight, or building management roles.
- Experience overseeing work performed by contractors and external service providers.
- Experience conducting facility inspections and monitoring operational incidents.
- Experience in corporate, industrial, or multi-contractor environments.
Technical Knowledge

Position Requirements
- Availability to travel between company sites when required.
