Mission
Ensure the proper operation, availability, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure and physical security systems across local and remote sites by performing field technical activities, supporting infrastructure and security projects, and coordinating operational activities with IT. Serve as the local point of contact for the implementation of solutions under the direction of Facility Management, in accordance with corporate standards and business requirements.
Responsibilities
Field technical support
- Provide on-site technical support at corporate facilities and remote locations to resolve issues related to technology infrastructure and associated systems.
- Perform diagnostics, equipment replacement, functional verification, and commissioning of serviced components and systems.
- Coordinate and escalate incidents to Corporate IT when specialized support or remote intervention is required.
- Record and document all activities performed in accordance with established procedures.
Technology infrastructure
- Manage local technology infrastructure at the physical level, ensuring proper operational condition, availability, and service continuity.
- Perform installations, upgrades, relocations, and moves of technology equipment and associated infrastructure.
- Monitor the condition of communications cabinets, racks, conduits, cabling, and other technical facility-related components.
- Identify improvement opportunities and report deviations or risks detected.
Infrastructure and security projects
- Execute infrastructure and security projects in the field as defined by Facility Management.
- Participate in the deployment, expansion, and upgrade of technical and physical security solutions.
- Perform functional testing, technical validation, and commissioning support for new installations.
- Coordinate on-site activities with external vendors and service providers when required.
Physical Security Systems
- Install, maintain, and verify the proper operation of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, and associated devices.
- Conduct periodic inspections and operational testing to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Diagnose incidents and perform corrective actions within the scope of responsibility.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, maintenance records, and system inventories for assigned systems.
Security and compliance
- Comply with and promote adherence to internal security procedures, asset protection policies, and access control requirements.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations during the execution of all work activities.
- Properly use tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) required for each task.
- Support and maintain the technical and security standards established by the company.
Administrative management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and operational information for the systems and infrastructures under responsibility.
- Manage documentation related to interventions, assets, inspections, and functional testing activities.
- Prepare basic reports on incidents, activities performed, and system status when required.
- Provide administrative support for the management of vendors, materials, and services within the assigned area of responsibility.
Necessary Requirements
Education
- Associate degree, Technical degree, or equivalent vocational training in Computer Systems and Networking, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Additional training in technology infrastructure, structured cabling, electronic security systems, communications, or physical security is considered an asset.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in field technical support, technology infrastructure, or electronic security systems.
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of technology equipment and physical security devices.
- Experience working in coordination with IT teams and external contractors.
Technical Knowledge
- Technology infrastructure and field technical support.

- CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and installation plans.
